The transcription editing features feel unfinished, and I couldn't find a way to edit text in transcription mode—an essential feature for correcting recordings.Desktop access requires a paid subscription. The pricing I was shown was $11 per month or $100 annually, roughly $8.33 per month. That is difficult to justify for an application with multiple bugs and limited functionality. In my experience, the desktop AI feature would not work unless the voice feature was also activated.Another major drawback is the lack of access to the original audio files for use with other AI platforms. This confines my workflow to Bee’s application, despite its limitations.For a paid product with an ongoing subscription, I expect reliable software, basic transcription editing, and the ability to export my recordings. In its current state, I cannot recommend it.Great concept — poor execution. Returning it today.","star":1},{"author":"Chris Barber","commented_at":"2026-10-19","content":"Love it so far after 24 hours. Some of the transcription is a little spotty mostly due to varying dialects and speech patterns but the summaries tend to clean that up by contextualizing. Most of my day was flight travel where I tended toward taking notes such as parking and shelter locations, airline confirmation number, flight scheduling, etc. as well as personal notes such as timesheet correction and reminders that I actually enjoy revisiting rather than burying in my regular notes app. Where it really shined for me today was while I was disassembling a machine, narrating what I was doing, which tools were needed, acquisition lists for the morning as well as projected tasks. These things were done hands free and captured in a usable summary while also being made available for the built in voice assistant to recap at the end of the day. I struggle with diving in and doing things, I remember visually what I did at key moments but not so much narratively. Bee was able to recall every step concisely and gave me a reason to pause and speak through the repair which helps with centering in the moment and retrieval later on, whether it’s later in the week, a year from now if I run in to a similar repair, or for potential guide and training modules to be made.4 stars simply because there is a lot of untapped potential so far. One thing I would like to see is to have long press and double press share some functionality. I like the voice assistant as well as the note taking but those are bound to long press while bookmark and processing are on double press. If I could double press for notes and long press for assistant that would be beneficial. I also used the voice assistant to recap my work for the day and asked for a text version of the summary. She stated that she created a summary to be copied but it could not be found anywhere, when I asked if she could put it in a note (the same place I would record my own note) she said that was not possible. So maybe a temporary cl.","star":4},{"author":"Parks N' Tech","commented_at":"2026-10-18","content":"Walking out of a fast-paced forty-five-minute brainstorming session or a packed afternoon of back-to-back phone calls used to mean spending another twenty minutes deciphering my own scribbled notes, yet strapping the all-new Bee Frontier onto my wrist has completely eliminated that mental clutter. Right out of the box, the stealthy matte Onyx finish looks effortlessly modern and understated, blending in seamlessly whether I am dressed up for a client meeting or wearing a hoodie on the weekend. Because it is completely screen-free, it never pulls my eyes away from the person sitting across from me with obnoxious pop-up notifications or glowing distractions. The ultrasoft silicone wristband feels weightless against my skin even after fourteen hours of continuous wear, fastening securely with a slick pin-and-tuck metal stud clasp that stays put all day. Whenever I want to switch up how I wear it or keep my wrists completely bare, the modular core pops right out of the silicone band and snaps into the included clip accessory, letting me attach it directly to a shirt collar, jacket lapel, or pocket with zero fuss.Operating the hardware is refreshingly intuitive and relies entirely on tactile muscle memory rather than fiddling with tiny menus. Right in the center of the smooth Onyx capsule sits a responsive physical action button flanked by a dual-microphone array and a tiny green status light. A single press wakes the unit up to begin capturing a conversation, illuminating the subtle green indicator so there is never any guesswork about whether it is actively listening, and another single press wraps up the session. What really elevates the day-to-day ergonomics is the double-press bookmarking feature; whenever someone drops a brilliant idea or a critical deadline mid-sentence, I just give that center button a quick double-tap to flag the exact moment for instant retrieval later. Even in challenging acoustic environments like a bustling café with espresso machines hissi.","star":5},{"author":"Cyndi T","commented_at":"2026-10-18","content":"My caveat to this review is that I'm only three days into using Bee. So far I'm really enjoying it for memory keeping, being able to just log tasks or reminders without having to preface it by 'Hey Google '. I also enjoy being able to talk through my research, and then I plan to take those insights or summaries into Notion or my other research tools to further work on my ideas. The biggest disappointment right now, though, is that despite being on a free trial of the Pro plan, it is not adding things directly to my Google Calendar or Google Tasks. However, I'm excited to see how my use of this evolves over the next few weeks.","star":3},{"author":"Quentin","commented_at":"2026-10-17","content":"I'll start by saying that I'm not new to Bee, nor am I someone who buys an AI gadget, plays with it for a weekend, and declares it revolutionary. I've been using Bee since the original Pioneer version, and I've seen firsthand how useful this little device can be for several people.I originally discovered Bee while reading I Am Not a Robot: My Year Using AI to Do (Almost) Everything by Joanna Stern. What enticed me, was that she not only tried it, but it was among the devices she continued using after her yearlong experiment. Given how many AI gadgets promise to change our lives, that was quite the endorsement in my eyes. So I decided to give it a shot, and I found it super useful! In fact, I purchased four of the original Pioneer devices: one for myself, one for my girlfriend, one for my mother, and one for a friend.I'm writing this review partly because my girlfriend and mother are unlikely to sit down and write reviews of the new Frontier themselves, despite how much the Bee has helped them return to some semblance of their normal lives, and in part because I normally only write reviews about things I find truly useful. Our experiences are with the original Pioneer, while my comments about the upgraded hardware apply to this version, the Frontier.My Girlfriend: An External Memory After a ConcussionMy girlfriend suffered a concussion that's left her dealing with super annoying memory challenges. What once was like a walk in the park for her to remember had turned into a chore at best or an argument at worst where she thought the world was gaslighting her, and the Bee has been outstandingly helpful mitigating a lot of these new difficulties. She's told me how useful the conversation transcripts, summaries, and automatic calendar suggestions have been. Instead of relying entirely on her memory to reconstruct a conversation, remember an obligation she made with others, or attempt to recall something she intended to do, she has a backup memory so to speak.I think peop.","star":5},{"author":"Jessica Bueno","commented_at":"2026-10-07","content":"Exactly what I was looking for. True to size and not a thick shirt.","star":5},{"author":"Barbara","commented_at":"2026-10-03","content":"Was disappointed with color. Much more black than white.Seems well made and works for my need.Don't expect exact look","star":4},{"author":"Repent & Believe","commented_at":"2026-10-01","content":"Wanted to love these button-down shirts but I just couldn't. I'm not one to wear a shirt without layering, unless it's just right. These shirts are well-made, soft, as a very light flannel (barely). I was kinda hoping they'd be a crisp cotton, but they are indeed brushed, soft cotton. I'm not personally comfortable wearing it as a stand-alone shirt. I tried layering it under a cardigan, but it was very bulky, and I began to overheat. When I started thinking about winter with this shirt layered under a cardigan, and then a jacket on top - well forget it. I'm hot just thinking about it! If you plan to wear it as a stand-alone shirt, it'll be fine but I do not think it's right for layering.","star":4},{"author":"Voracious Reader","commented_at":"2026-09-30","content":"I’m so glad I found these as I was looking for a good button down solution for my breast cancer treatment journey. I needed easy access button down front, a soft and breathable fabric, enough of a pattern to not immediately look marred by an occasional body fluid seeping through a surgical dressing, fabric thick and opaque enough to allow surgical drains to be pinned to them without tearing or warping, and soft enough to not irritate radiation-sensitized skin. Basically, I was looking for a ‘unicorn’ shirt that would work at every stage of my cancer treatment journey, and these are perfect for that! The fabric is soft inside and out, finely woven to be fully opaque, thick enough to be warm without being overly hot, and durable through wash after wash. They’re cut generously, fit true to size, and very comfortable to wear. I bought 8 of them in different patterns, and all of them are good quality.","star":5},{"author":"Baz","commented_at":"2026-09-17","content":"I just got the shirt and am well pleased. Its a thin brushed cotton so flannel , and despite being thin seems warm. It seems like a good layering shirt - over tanks, ts, or under sweater - and its a great color. I love that its 100 % cotton and not synthetic blend. I'll be wearing it a lot.","star":5}]}
